Quiet, isn't it?

Hi guys.
It's gone awful quiet all of a sudden, no new recruits, no more film stars, nothing, so thought I'd start something new.
I realise of course that Bill and Anth have been busy doing technical wizardry to increase the accessibility of this site, and more strength to their collective arms, I say.
Have to get my act together a bit as eldest son is being married tomorrow, best bib and tucker, I s'pose, I'm beginning to miss the old jeans at the very thought! Big day for 'She who must be obeyed' though, so best show willing.
I seem to remember that sometime in the past one of our many participants commented that many of the masters multi-tasked, teaching more than one subject at different levels. Since then I have noticed on several occasions that masters have been credited with subjects that seem completely different to the subjects they taught us. For example Gummy Freeman apparently taught Chemistry, I never knew that, he always tried to teach us RI, Chemistry was Dr Noddy Hamblin or in latter years sometimes Oberstormbahnfuhrer Williams, although the good lady wife never taught us at all, we only got the fragrance in the corridors!
At various times Pop Webb taught us English and History although from fourth year up English was always Taff Griffiths.
Pete Moore taught us maths up to the fifth, in the sixth Bill Hayman was pure and P Moore applied. Bevvers and Dickie Harbour taught Physics throughout, and Stan Stennett was Biology. Oh, and Archie Alvis was Geography. By the way, someone mentioned Herr Ault, needless to say he taught German, and Joe Cannon, French.
I'm sure that we all have different experiences of being taught a subject by the most unlikely master and that many will differ.
Any more odd ball examples out there?
John.

Hi Bill.
Thanks for your response and all the information, unfortunately I am in no condition to follow it all up at the moment. It's a bit late and tiredness creeps on. Try to check it out tomorrow!
Wedding went well, check out my relpy to Stu's birthday.
                                                                                     Bi for now.
