Many thanks guys, much appreciated, reasonable day up to date, mostly sunny but a sea mist has settled over the estuary now. At least I'm feeling better today, had a bug for the last few days, hence my absence, not so much swine flu as donkey flu, so haven't felt much like communicating with anyone, should have had shares in Andrex. More news on "Duck" saga, photos to follow.

Happy birthday! A bit late I know, but just got back from the wedding, been a bit tied up till now.

Sorry to hear about the bug, but glad you are recovered enough to resume contact with the outside world, hope you are fully recovered soon. I'm sure Nicole Kiddman would not have wished to see you in that condition, probably why she didn't turn up again this year. Better luck next year! I can't understand why you always miss out, Sigourney Weaver always brings me brekkie in bed on my birthday. Oh, by the way, the pigs are all fed and watered and ready for flying!!!!!

The wedding turned out to be a cracking affair, weather perfect, dry, sunny and cool with a gentle breeze, but the reception was on the top of the cotswolds at a small village called Miserden, so always a bit of a breeze. Good ceremony at Stroud and plenty to eat and drink at the reception. Nobody had a wobbly over anything, and the band in the evening was superb. Good day all round.

Won't go on too much as it is getting very very late. Everybody have a good day tomorrow.

A belated Happy Birthday Stu. Last again as usual. I expect you are now over the hangover and had a wunnerful time. 21 already, how the years pass !!!

Thanks, John and Rich, generally speaking the day went well, I've just about recovered from the bug when Shirl went down with it, so no particular celebrations just yet, instead I'm doing the cooking, made her favorite for dinner tonight, toadstool and newt souflle, that should perk her up, took the opportunity to fine tune the broomstick as well. It's great for once I can write just about anything I like, no one looking over my shoulder.

Don't know about 21 Rich, keep telling myself I'm only 18, persist in spoiling the illusion by looking in the mirror, which if it could talk would be laughing hysterically.

Sigourney Weaver, eh. John, thought I'd seen a squadron of Gloucester Old Spots flying North and East, assumed it was a trick of the light, perhaps not. Glad you had a good day yesterday, certainly got the weather right didn't they, always nice to get a sunny day for a wedding, pee'd down on mine, still there's always sunshine after the rain -- eventually.

Hi Stu.

Sorry to hear that Shirl has the lurgy now, hope she soon recovers. Sure to though with the special cooking, you been taking lessons from my Missus? She had trouble with the broomsyick as well, I told her to apply for that job down at Wookey, damn good pay, said she be OK travelling down on the broom. Kids said that's no good as she and her sister only have two strokes and it would probably take all day to get there!

Know what you mean about the wedding wather, although we were lucky, it peed down the day before and the day after but the actual day was OK. Just as well, the old Triumph Herald didn't like very wet weather much.

Glad you saw the Old Spots, now perhaps you will believe, next time you see them you will know it's my birthday!!!!!!!!!
