Home Again !!

Hi All,

Just a quickie to let you know I'm back, safe and sound. and in one piece, (more or less), had sort of forgotten what Russians mean when they ask if you fancy a vodka! needless to say the hangover was somewhat extreme, but at least I wasn't the one who ended up being poured into a taxi, one has to remember that one's British and thus has to be the last man standing.

All in all a good trip, camel riding in the Gobi desert, sweating buckets in the Turpan Depression, crazy rides up canyons in a jeep with a Tibetan Buddhist monk, and me pocket picked in Beijing, loads of travellers tales.

Will be adding some photos and a bit of a travelogue soon, as well as catching up on all the goings on here.

Saw the bit about a reunion, I'm up for it depending on dates, her indoors is talking about a little trip to Morocco sometime in March, (perhaps I'll send her on her own, she's taken a fancy to camels, if I'm really lucky she'll run off with an Omar Shariff lookalike, ha.ha. there's wishful thinking for you).

Good to know you ar back safe and sound and that you had a good holiday.

Shame about the Beijing experience though.

Time has flown hasn`t it?...doesn`t seem but a few days ago you and Shirl were off.. welcome home, no doubt you will evenyuallly catch up with what`s been going on .. hope you have success with the Bank over the money..
