OK so the weather in the UK hasn,t been good but with Steve and Rodger in Spain, Mick in Malaysia, and now Ken in Australia we could get a weather report from part of the world, all we need is Tim Norris in the states to round it off

Off to Spain on Sunday morning Rich, crossing the channel at 3.30 in the morning landing at 5,30 French time, got a cracking deal with a promo code off the internet from P&O ,£67 all in return on a 24ft van, silly off peak times but I like to get an early start and should be down to Herez by Wednesday at the latest, not to sure if I can log on to the site from an internet cafe but I will try.

Actually I'm thinking of stowing away on Tony's van, fancy a trip to the sun?

Cor!!! lucky you Bill, seen the sun today eh! It's been raining here, not so much cats and dogs as large farm animals, there's a gale blowing in from the sea and the rain's been horizontal, so much so that the ground's not even got wet. Glad I've been indoors, her indoors went to ASDA to get something for me tea and came back looking like a drowned rat, apparently she got caught in the car park during a hail storm and forgot where she'd left the car, I did laugh, so that's tea out of the window.

Weather update ... since we last spoke I have now endured a rainbow, some sun, sleet ..yes Sleet at 17.00 gmt.followed by more SNOW at 1800 gmt. For those of you hovering around the Grenwich Meridian .. albeit south of 50 degrees latitiude . the temperature has climed to a sragering 3 degrees celcius .. that`s the Hot Scale with a hundred  parts for those still on pre decimal Farenhrhiet.  I have just didgested a traditional Sunday pork roast with all the trimmings ..just in case you Spanish brethren have forgotten what we serve up on Sundays in the U.K., this excellent fare was washed down with a litre of Merlot Rose .. from the Chillean Villa Cnbtral region...it is now having the desired effect .. Roast Pork & Merlot eh! Francis, very nice too! I've not eaten yet, judgeing from earlier events I may not, still am presently quaffing a very acceptable glass of cider.

Stu, I had to give up cider 4 years ago when I was hospitalised with  double pneumonia .. it`s a chemical thing they tell me .. I`ve tried it since .. don`t like it any more .. ah well back to the rum .. Bill
