Couldn't agree more Rich, c'mon guys let's see who else is bald, got shares in a brewery, surgical stockings etc. Also a bit of blurb about how mundane/disolute, (chose either or somewhere in between), your life is, you must have done something exciting, memorable, illegal or just plain stupid in the last 45 years, tell us about it, after all at our age laughter might be one of the few remaining pleasures.
I also noticed we've lost somebody, but I'm afraid the short term memory doesn't allow me to remember who it is/was, I can only hope they weren't either too embarassed or bored by our occasional banter and banaity.

Rich, end of our tweneties?...you mean we`re not teenagers anymore? .. why on earth didn`t someone tell me? ..all these days (and  nights) I`ve been shaving of beards, loosing sleep about waiting for grey to arrive ..thinking that I might gain wisdom and humour loss .. well, I`ll be a fisher mans friend ..Ha Ha ... Bill

Stu, Martin Luther King comes to mind.." I just looked around and he was gone" .. we are all at the "ready for the off" age now ...I`m sure there`s a few out there that wished I was ..Ha Ha ..Oh, got my CBT certificate today .. theory next .. then the full test .. I`ll keep you posted ..Can`t keep an old (broken) dog down eh?. Do it while you still can is my motto..Bill

Well done on the CBT Bill! @spose this means you'll be out and about on a high powered 124 now then, bikers! bloody hooligans.
Talking about teenage years I don't think I really got there, I just reverted to playing with toys, more expensive and interesting toys granted, (some of them even played back, tee hee), my motto should be all the world's my playground.

Or even a 125, should read what I've written.

Hi Stu, ye .. 125 .. already done it mate ! .. due to collect a new Piaggio X7 125 scooter on the 18th (hopefully) .. goes a bit faster than my little Yamaha does, I shall keep the little one just for use with the motorhome. We have sun, sun, sun today in Timsbury, and the solar panels are producing more than enough current to power this pc & monitor with lots to spare, so, the first 12v message of the season from me. Take care , catch you later .. Bill

Sun yesterday, sun today, hopefully sun tomorrow. Solar panels eh! good for you, although I am opposed to wind farms, blot on the landscape, they'd be allright if they were efficient but considering there are many more efficient way of producing green energy that aren't being exploted I remain opposed. Considering the number of reseviours there are around that couyld have turbines installed, mill leats that a small turbine would provide enough electricity for two or three houses efficiently, wave and tidal generators, wind farms are a poor option. Still been nice to get out and do a bit of gardening, getting our allotment dug over, well Shirl does the digging I watch, division of labour, got to keep things in proportion, planted onions this morning and that'll do for today.

Nice to see some new members, hope you take the trouble to read the discussion groups guys, if you do you will have noticed repeated requests for a little bit of info, and perhaps a headshot photo for the membership list. We do hope that members participate in the group activities, that means occasionally using your fingers to type something into a discussion, content unimportant, frequently banal, or mildly insulting ( intended to be humourous ), I guess most of us are old enought to handle it and use a modicum of wit in our replies, I certainly mean no offence. So get busy and give us some info, eg. hair loss, zimmer frame handling qualities etc. and a photo so we can have a laugh.

Voyuers of the journey through life Stu, observers on the ether .. each to their own. I`m still able (at the moment) to still act the idiot, and long may it continue to be so. It may not appeal to everyone, but you have to let yourself go occasionally and let it all hang out.

Last time I let it all hang out Bill I got fined £60 and bound over to keep the peace, only joking.

I take it we are of course referring to the "athletes foot" again ..
